What a drive! I followed Waze driving directions and took "Old 35"
It was a beautiful drive and I almost turned around when I first started out but my adventureism has kicked in since moving here. The road is barely passible with 2 cars and goes pretty close to a few lakes but Damn it was beautiful. There were several old farms along the way that looked like some I had stalked online. Definitely too remote for me.
Frederick was adorable, full of charming old houses but on a Saturday afternoon is was dead. Hardly anyone on the road, not much in the way of businesses either. The hardware store was hopping though.
I drove to Siren on the way back, past on interesting bar/camp ground lined with motorcycles. I imagine that place gets pretty wild.
Anyhow, I'm having fun adventuring a little.
